Our time capsule contribution

English+ is a Christian charity providing free, weekly English classes to students of over 50 nationalities. We welcome newcomers to Norwich or those isolated and lacking English language skills, including refugees and asylum seekers, beginners to advanced, young and old, and all belief systems. Sessions often have 60-80 students, while small groups enable friendships, confidence and skills to develop. We provide further support, plus facilitate a new life and home here in Norfolk.

We chose to print on silk the word Welcome in the languages currently represented at English+, and a photo taken at Norwich Cathedral which hosts a class.
