Pair of women's shoes with uppers in pale green kid, pointed toes, low shoe with rounded front, edges bound by black satin ribbon, Italian heels covered by black leather, fastens with thin black laces attached to front of shoes, decorated with an intricate pattern drawn onto upper in query black ink, ruffled black satin ribbon around front of shoe, black satin rosette on instep, turnshoe, stamped on insole Cocks shoe maker, Crompton Street, St. Anns, Soho, about 1790 to 1805
