O8 Pack, 1937 Pattern Web Equipment

O8 Pack (or large pack) from 1937 Pattern Web Equipment with two carrying straps attached, all of the metal parts of the bag are brasa and not austerity measure steel. On the front of the opeing it is marked Bata 1943 and 34D inside of flap. Written in ink on the back of the pack is Demonte 3F 1 Pont. There is an acute accent on the name and the 1 is drawn continental style making it likely this had a continental/Canadian user.
