Description
Corporal and Lance Corporal of the 1/6th Cyclist Battalion, Norfolk Regiment, crewing a Maxim machine gun mounted in the flat-bed attached to the rear of a Daimler car, registration LA-4702. '6th CYCLIST BNR' written along side of car. Broken windscreen. A kneeling man by rear wheel and another up a tree, armed with Long Lee Enfield rifles. One of 49 photographs of the 1/6th Cyclist Battalion taken by W.J. Brunell in 1914. This one possibly taken at North Walsham.
