Description
Side drum of the 1st Battalion, Norfolk Regiment dating between 1880 and 1899. Painted with the Royal Arms with Britannia underneath. The battle honours displayed on the left are Rolica, Nive, Corunna, Busaco, Salamanca, Vittoria, Nive & St Sebastian. Also shown on the right are Peninsula, Cabool, Moodkee, Ferozashah,Sobaron, Sevastopol, Kabul 1879, Afghanistan 1879-8. The drum has been extensively restored and there is significant spray from where the cords have been blancoed
