Description

This paper, blueprint map was compiled and drawn in the Surveyor Generals Office Pretoria from farm surveys under the direction of H.M. Jackson published on 2, June 1901. This map indicates the area's topography and the key at the base clues the audience into farm boundaries, rivers and ponds, main roads, railways, district boundaries, and other roads. The extent of the map covers South Africa's Lichtenburg to the Northwest, Wolmaransstad to the Southwest, Orange Colony to the Southeast, and Potchefstroom to the Northeast. The scale, located at the base, indicates one mile to half an inch.
