Wolseley Universal Foreign Service Khaki Helmet Solar Curtain

Solar curtain for a foreign service helmet worn in India and Mesopotamia by Private John Hobson 1917-18. It consists of a medium brown-sand khaki quilted cotton 'bib' with cotton tapes attached to tie around the helmet, thus ensuring that the wearer's neck is in shade.
