1937 Pattern Officer's haversack or valise belonging to Lt. O A Kelf of D Coy, with carrying strap . Marked inside the front flap D.R.M. Ltd 42 for makers D R Melbourne and Chaddington, Oldham. The strap for carrying the haversack as a shoulder bag is marked B.H.G. Ld 1941 for makers Barrow, Hepburn & Gale Ltd. The letter S is marked twice, it had two Broad Armours one with 1941 on. The back of the haversack is marked L,T O.A. Kelf D. Coy in white with O.A. Kelf in black underneath the other inscription.
