Accession Number NWHRM : 6441
Description
A coloured map of Limassol, Cyprus issued to M.T. Drivers and was originally issued to Derek Easter. It was published by the War Office in 1955. It shows the surrounding district; showing rivers, streams, streets, buildings and the harbour. The map contains drawn on markings of both a red crayon and a pink highlighter. A hand drawn legend explains the use of these markings along the base with 'O' meaning Temporary Kosbah Blocks and 'X' referring to Permanent Kosbah Blocks. The actual map reference is located near the bottom left detailing the roads, contours, and municipal boundaries. A scale is located to the right with roughly 12 inches to a mile.
