Embroidered birthday card sent by Private Arthur William Sandell, no. 29473, Norfolk Regiment to his sister. Sandell was wounded goung 'over the top', captured and placed in a POW 'Hospital' in Liege, Belgium. Hid on a coal barge in Liege and was fed by a friendly Belgian until Armistice.
