Description

A rectangular piece of cream linen on which is embroidered in cotton thread the insignia of the Royal Norfolk Regiment: A seated figure of Britannia holding an olive sprig and a long trident, with a Union Jack shield resting against her side. The words 'The Royal Norfolk Regiment' have been embroidered in black underneath, indicating that this was made after the 'Royal' title was conferred on the regiment in 1935.
