photographs and letter

2 letters from F.R. Hooker describing the unveilling ceremony of the war memorial in Jerusalem (two version of the same letter, one handwritten, one typed), a set of 9 photographs and a letter from the Eastern Daily Press. It seems that Captain K.H. Fielding was submitting the photographs to the newspaper and included a typed version of Hooker's letter as it describes each photograph. The photographs are of the Military Cemetery in Ramleh, the commemorative slabs at Jerusalem Cemetery inscribed with the names of the missing men. the Memorial Chapel in Jerusalem, and the wreath laid by the 1/4 Battalion of the Norfolk Regiment Old Comrades Club. Sent to Captain K.H. Fielding, includes original envelopes.
