Description

Horse hoof with hinged silver snuff box on top. Horseshoe replaced by silver edging. Presented to Colonel T E Knox CB and Officers of the 2nd Battalion 9th Regiment of Foot by Lt (Adjutant) A F B Wright, Hong Kong, 6th November 1865. The hoof was from Black prince, Lt. Wright's charger.
