Description
Heavy steel gun barrel from a matchlock. Its weight would have meant that a surdy aiming rest would have been required to fire it. Acquired by Lt Arthur Hadow whilst commanding the Machine Gun Section of the 1st Battalion, Norfolk Regiment which accompanied Col Younghusband on his political mission into Tibet.
