Edward VII Infantry Officer's sword, 1822 pattern with a Gothic hilt which has 3 bar, downswept quillon, diamond-hatched pommel & back-piece, grooved ferrule, slot for knot-strap, grey shagreen grip bound with twisted wire. Leather wrist strap & acorn knot. The guard is gilt but very rusty. The Blade is straight with spear point and single fuller, buff leather washer. The scabbard
