Brass telescope, painted black and leather clad, brass cap over object lens. An early 20th century Ross ½ draw telescope lacking its original hard leather case. Stamped “A. Rofs London” on the first draw tube it has a leather clad main barrel with a stitched seam and one/two brass draw tubes. The main tube retains some of its original black finish for avoiding reflective glare when used in field stalking. Paint loss on sliding ray shade at front.
