In album of caricatures with humourous captions depicting officers of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Norfolk Regiment whilst in Burma 1944. Drawn on white paper which is stuck into the scrapbook with a description: Capt D. I. Atkins. "Bumble" was commissioned in the field at Kohima. Son of a famous C.S.M., he was acknowledged the Bn Munchausen. A Post Office engineer while on Reserve, he would not admit to a "little red boike". "It's purely platonic"
