2nd Bn Officers, Burma 1944

Description

A caricature of an unamed officer, he's dressed in a kilt and holding some ripped uniform, a pint glass and smoking a pipe. There's a pile of clothing behind him all labeled 'trousers' there is a Kilroy Woz 'Ere figure at the top of the image saying 'Wot, No Heart' the image is called "Got a housewife haven't you?" In an album of caricatures with humourous captions depicting officers of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Norfolk Regiment whilst in Burma 1944. Drawn on white paper which is stuck into the scrapbook there is no description but a hand written note says "Captain Holmes, Q.M 2nd Bn Formerly Cameron Highlanders
