Drawn on white paper which is stuck into the scrapbook with a description: Capt D. C. Burall. Doug joined the Bn at Mythinge. He passed through a somewhat hectic career as Q.M. to become P.R.I. With considerable zeal he rose to become a member of the first team, only to be suspended for three weeks for reasons best left unrevealed. Sometimes to be seen hanging by his heels from the rafters. He held a theory that you can womanise, drink, or go to Church, but only one of the three. "WE'RE ROUND THE BLEEDIN' CORNER." There is a hand written note above the text saying that he was killed in 1946 in a jeep accident.
