The Perimeter Trenches at Camp Snipe, covering Kurna. Owing to the fact that water was only a few inches below the surface, Trenches could not be dug down but had to be built up. It was in this camp that the Battalion spent Xmas Day 1914. Photographic print from notebook with photographs enlarged from vest pocket negatives, taken by Lt R.T.
