A reconnaissance map titled 'T.C. 79' depicting the River Tigris and surrounding area 14 February, 1917. A note explains that the entire area of the map was compiled by photographs taken on 8 February, 1917. The note also references corresponding documents that explain identification points and an explanation of symobls; 'Explanation Index Map' and 'List of Sybmols on T.C. Maps' respectively. The map contains points of launching pontoon boats in the M32 area for the 2nd Battalion Norfolk. A scale along the base indicates 6 inches to 1 mile.
