Description

Fossil, Palaeoloxodon antiquus (Falconer and Cautley) (straight-tusked elephant) fragment of upper right molar M2/M3(?). Not mineralised and cover cement lost. enamel is yellowish beige to grey in colour externally, and white and yellow internally. The dentine and cement are white and stained by iron oxide.; Quaternary, Pleistocene, Cromer Forest Bed Series, from Mundesley, Norfolk
