Description

Fossil, Mammuthus trogontherii (Pohlig) (steppe mammoth) fragmented upper left molar M3, in two parts and glued together. Not mineralised. The enamel is grey to black in colour, the dentine is also grey to black, and the cement is covered by a cement crust over the medial part of the crown. The sediment is a partially oxidized fine to medium grained orange brown sand, and is adhering to the crown
